Default Disconnected and Reconnected my Car Battery and my AutoMate Alarm doesn't Beep anymore :(

So I disconnected the negative pole of my battery for installing an ipod and reconnected it again and my AutoMate alarm doesn't beep or panic at all anymore. The remote locks and unlocks the car but you don't hear any beeps anymore. Please Help!!! Thanks.

i'm pretty sure one of your doors (or trunk) are not closed completely. check that first.

Also, in case that helps, when I was reconnecting the negative pole, the car alarm starting going off right away, off course, so I had the remote in my hand and pressed it several times while I reconnected the battery. Could that have disabled the alarm sound?

Sorry, is not a factory alarm is an AutoMate alarm. Also, I just read somewhere, I may have set the alarm to valet mode or passive mode or something without realizing it. Is this posible? and how do I fix it?
Btw, this is the remote that I have:

Do you not have a operators manual for the alarm system? If not, try checking the manufacturers site (if they have one) for troubleshooting.

open the drivers door. Press lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock. You should then hear the siren beep. You must of put it in valet mode by pushing the buttons to many times
