So it's summertime and i've got the A/C or the air on, whichever, and everytime i turn it on there's a ticking noise. Now i've learned to ignore it but lately it's been really irritating. It's coming from beneath the console and i'm going to look at it tomorrow, but once i'm down there i'm not really sure what to do.
I turn the fan/ A/C on and i hear ticking from behind the console so is there something in the fans way? or what, idk.

Check the blower fan behind your glovebox. Anything could be stuck in it.
That's one thing it could be, among many.
If you drop your glovebox and look up, it's right there. It's a black thing about the size of a rubix cube.

Thats what I was going to say. Mine did the same thing when the blower was on

ok i looked down there and there's nothing, but could someone tell me where to start taking that stuff down, like, can i just start unscrewing from beneath there or what?
There's probably two screws holding in the glove box, take those out and you can just drop the glove box down, it should come right out. Right there should be your evaporator and blower. The blower is on the right. There are some screws holding it in, and you will have to unplug some wiring too, find a manual and check to see exactly where they are. You can pull it out and clean out leaves etc. that might be making the noise.
