Hows This Price Sound?
1999 Honda Accord EX
108,000 miles CD Player, Sunroof, Manual Trans mission, in excellent condition
$5900
Looks like a pretty damn good deal to me.
Do these cars need any routine maintence around these miles?
Do EX's come standard with leather kuz i dunno if this one has it or not?

Looks pretty good. I think the price is around right. I would say $5400 would be a nicer price. But depending how good he/she took care of it. Good paint? Shiny? Did all the maintenance and a record? Timing belt replaced yet? Spark plugs? Brakes? No rust? If all those are good, I would totally pay 5900
Leather = option...

i doubt the timing belt was done yet so ill try to get them down in price
How much does it usually cost to get that and everything else i should do with done?

The spark plugs are supposed to be replaced every 30,000 miles on that car but it's a really easy and cheap do-it-yourself job (replace the wires while you're at it).
The timing belt is due and the clutch will most likely be due in the foreseeable future, neither are cheap but not expensive either - $500 each?
Oh, and call your local dealer, I believe that they will do a pre-purchase inspection for something like $60 or so, would be worth it to make sure it's a clean car and also to have an idea of what needs to be done on it. But yeah, $5,900 sounds like a good price. If that's his opening price you can knock him down to $5,500 or $5,600 by pointing out the timing belt / clutch prices you'll be looking at.

Spark plugs need to be changed every 30,000 miles on the ’99 I4s – the 105K interval on I4 spark plugs didn’t start until ’00. And the car he’s looking at is an I4 since it has manual transmission (V6’s were automatic transmission only).
The three items that are listed as needing to be done at 105,000 miles on the ’99 Accord are:
Replace timing belt, balancer belt, and inspect water pump
Inspect valve clearance
Inspect idle speed
Then there’s the usual items like air filter, cabin filter (air conditioning filter), replacing engine coolant, transmission fluid and brake fluid, etc.
The ’99 Accord is a very nice car. The main problem is with the automatic transmissions but since this one is a manual that’s not an issue. I have a ’99 LX with manual transmission – the engine will be the same as this EX – it’s a very peppy car with lots of interior room and it gets great gas mileage (33 or so on the interstate, upper 20’s in town).
And again, check the dealer to see how much they charge for an inspection.

Okay. My 02 needs nothing until 105k, so I assumed the whole 6th gen was like that.

timing belt and water pump are do-able on your own, making the job a lot cheaper, the only problem would be trying to line everything up with the timing marks, but if you take your time you could do that part for just under 100 bucks.
where does the clutch engage? half way? if your going about 45 and put it in 5th , you should be able to punch it and hold it and the clutch should hold if its still ok.
make sure even if the clutch is good you point it out that it may have to be replaced, and get a quote and tell them that price for the timing belt. do anything to knock it down a little more and try and get the steal
