NO speakers/ wires in doors
hey hows it goin guys
heres my problem
i have a k20a swap in my EG and i also did a dash swap ( harness was all hacked up in the dash i got )
the shell was fully gutted when i bought it
so there are no speakers in the doors or any wires
do i go to the back from the back of the fuse box and find the wires that corespond to each speaker and then just run those to the speakers?
how do i go about putting them in?
im very confused
any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks , Ben

There are no speaker wires going into the fuse box. Ever.
If you don't have the correct harness for the radio/speakers, then yes, you can just run wires into the door. Use the existing holes/boots if possible.

and where does it connect to on the dash harness?</TD></TR></TABLE> Depend on the doors they are for, in a base model it will be short and have the 2 speaker leads and a multi-pin plug, if they are for a "full load" car the harness is much bigger containing speaker, power window and power door lock wiring, will still use the same multi-pin plug.
The dash harness plugs that the door harnesses plug into should be part of the dash harness, as will the stock radio harness plug, the dash harness plugs and the door harness plugs plug into each other and "clip" into the holes in the A pliers.
B18C_EJ8 is correct, you could just run speaker wires into the doors, both powers, switched and constant power, can be found at the free pins on the under dash fuse box.

you can always run new wiring which usually ends up being better than the thin stock wiring that comes with the vehicle anyways. any power leads you run (ex. constant power and/or switched ignition)...make sure to fuse the line!
