Ok with the exception of some seat brackets this is one of my first fabrications. I dont know if any one else has had any problems with honda clutch pedals, but i have broken 2 of them off of their mounts. I have an Exedy clutch and pressure plate which are a little stiffer but I figured the pedals would hold up... I was wrong. So I decided to make up one of my own. Just got it tacked up, still have to add tabs for bumper stops and return spring. Lemme know what ya think.

looks good and strong. now get it installed and post up results!

 

on my way over to the shop now to finish the welding and trim the edges. ill post pix later and install it this weekend and let you know how it turns out.

 

The d16 clutch these pedals were made for is like butter with a return spring - it wasn't designed for what you can get for them now. Esp if thats a crx pedal, those are known to break as they're only supported on one side by a weak bolt. Looks a little overengineered, but at least you know it won't break

 

3 civics, never broke a clutch pedal but that does look good.
