'01 Acura CL 3.2 V6, VTEC Controller???

My buddy has a '01 CL, It has VTEC and he wants to put on a VTEC controller, possibly the APEXi VAFC2. He was wondering which pins and wires to connect them to of if it is even possible to do so. What ECU dose it run and is it shared by any other Hondas (Accords?) I have the APEXi VAFC2 installation manual so if it is an accord then Its possible. Thank you-
