Defective pads?
Saturday I replaced my pads and rotors. I used Brembo blanks and Axxis Metal Master pads. Now I've got an odd problem.
Under moderate braking I get a very slight "pa-pa-pa" sound with some light pulsing through the pedal. Very subtle, but there. The feedback does not come through the steering, however. I have checked and re-checked all of the bolts/fasteners and they are all within spec. My cat will be going to the dealership Wednesday for other service, so I'll have it checked out there, but I was wondering if anyone has an idea as to what is causing my troubles.

ha, i feel the same thing and i run the same pads. did you break them in properly? i thought i did. after the expo and some city driving it has gone almost all away. but it doesnt feel as good as stock still. try bleeding your brakes. thats what im going to do as soon as i can get someone to press the pedal for me.
Ah, so it very well may be a pad-specific thing.
Thanks for the response. I've put maybe 5 miles on them, so perhaps they just need to break in. I may just go back to stock though. I can live with squeal, but this, even if it's harmless, is quite disconcerting.
