Default New addition to the family

No I didn't have a kid (Although all my grandparents have a running bet on which grandchild will be first one to knock someone up and all the money is on me!) My father is going through a lot of hardships this year so I bought him a motorcycle!

The bike is a 1999 BMW K1200RS with 20k miles on it. We picked the bike up from http://www.nationalpowersports.net who's shop is local to us. They were super friendly people (very low key, no high pressure sales at all) If you are looking for a quality used bike check these guys out. HUGE selection. Unfortunately my father has some kind of inner ear issue that just arose so he's been very dizzy, doctors said he can't drive for a couple days so I had to rip this bad boy home

Well enough with the chit chat here are some pictures, my triple managed to sneak into a couple of the pics (okay it sneaked into most of them :D )

The bike came with hardbags and the previous owner put a silmoto exhaust on it (which sounds really nice!) other than that I believe the bike is stock. We found some paper work in one of the hardbags with some information about the original owner and the purchase. Ironically we bought the bike on July 24th which was the birth day of the original owner!

Any comments welcome!

Pics of BMW with girl!

What mods have you planned with the BMW? Does it already come with heated grips?

I hope to do the same some day, my dad loves riding but the step-mom insists on him not buying one...so I will do it for him

Awesome bike though, always had a soft spot for the K-series Bimmers

I'm working on getting her on the bike for a shoot don't you worry. She is due again with the trumpet as well now that I put some parts on it. As far as mods...I've decided to leave that to him I've already spent enough money I believe it does have heated grips though.
