what are your guys` experiences?

This is a black 04' (the color I definately want) missing front end, headlights, tail lights, rear bumper, seats, air bags, center console, battery, and ecu, and the wheels He is asking $7500...

If I buy a good AP1 I would owe around $4k, if I got this I could slowly bring it back up to specs, and never make a payment. BTW I won't buy it if I can't get full coverage on it

 

damn $15? thats hella cheap

You have any idea what all those parts are going to cost you?

Headlights complete = $1000+ new, about $600 used.

Seats - $1k

Airbags - $1200 new

Wheels - $300 for AP1s, $1000+ for AP2s.

I'd say about $15k total when you're finally done. If you're actually going to do it, good on you.

I'm also in the bay and have just started looking to purchase a used S2000 so I notice the ad.

Lookin the picture the air intake is also missing so who knows what else. Good luck with that one.

 

ya I was thinking there is not way I would take it without driving it first. So I could borrow an ECU from a friend, and grab a battery, maybe wheels too ha ha

 

i offered him 6k that he took 3 days ago, 2 days later he said his t/o is 6800. i thought about it and if u do it its pretty cheap, cuz in the sac area theres a guy selling fender/bumper/hood for 250 from a 06. the headlights theres ap1's around for 300 about i remember doing hte math and w/ all the bells and whistles comes out 10k for a theft recovery ap2. but at the same time there's a CLEAN title gpw s2k w/ peanutbutter interior in socal somewhere that hit a ditch or something and has a mangled bumper/ airbag deployed/ underbody dmg (doesnt look like it'd be too bad)

if i sell my lude soon enough, i might hop on the theft recovery =P

 

I'd buy that if I was in the bay area..
