FS: hydraulic GSR transmission [non-LSD] (CHEAP!)
SOLD!
thanks Honda-Tech!
the facts:
94-96 GSR hydraulic transmission
non LSD
unknown mileage (possible 80,xxx or so)
when i got my car the previous owner had just gotten a swap that included this transmission and he said the motor/tranny had about 60,xxx miles on it at that time.
here's the catch:
1) there's a hairpin crack/hole on the bottom of the casing that will need a spot weld. i was going to do it myself, but i ended up just getting a b16 tranny. this NEEDS to be fixed or else it will leak fluid.
2) there's a grind from high 4th gear to 5th. now this could be from the fact that the tranny fluid has never been changed since i got the car (about a year) or it could be from fluid loss due to the crack/hole, or hell the synchros could just be going bad. i'm not sure. i didn't want to deal with this tranny anymore.
asking $300 OBO or trade for EG/DC coilovers (Omni Power, K-Sport, etc.) or a set of good EG/DC aftermarket shocks (KYB AGX, Koni Yellows, etc.) i'll add cash on top if the deal merits it.
located in Southern California and shipping will be at the buyer's expense.

(the tranny's a bit greasy due to me rolling with a ripped CV boot for a couple of months. nothing a good cleaning won't take care of.
