Okay lately, since the summer began i notice when stuck in traffic and driving for a long time i loose some power, will getting a mugen fan switch and thermostat be the smart thing to do to get rid of this problem. My car is a daily driver, will it cause any problems?

have you-
bled your cooling system lately?
is your thermostat work properly?
check for cracks in rad?
tried water+water wetter?
i'd look into those first since you have a stock motor pretty much.
I'm running a turbo h22 with a civic half radiator and i live in Texas, It does get hot but does not overheat

coolant system was bled, and coolant was replace recently, with a brand new radiator.

And when i say loose power i mean the motor seems to loose a little power, as in not pull as hard as it would if it wasn't driving all day or stuck in traffic.

My first thoughts would be that sitting in traffic and the summer temperatures are causing less dense air into the motor and as a result the ECU is not allowing for as much fuel? The opposite effect can be experienced in the winter when the temperatures are cold, motors can make more power...
those 2 items should work fine for a daily driver but I don't think it is going to help the loss of power.. Your coolant temperatures should go down but thats not going to effect the intake air temperature.... a CAI might

just remove the thermostat. I just took mine out for a night at the drag strip and it does seem to take the idling in traffic much better. you will want to put it back in for winter time though.
I really don't see any need for a lower temp thermostat or fan switch. I run no fans and the stock thermostat in my track car. I have absolutely no cooling issues, and that's with 20 to 30 minute sessions on track in 100+F Texas temperatures.
yea your feeling heat sock .....
is your heat shield still on . i also wraped my intake with sticl aluminium foil and insulation .
on the hotest day the intake staysa cool .
liek i asked , heat sheil back over the header made a big difference in under hood temps.
and yes i thikn the mugen themr and switch would help. my car runs up to 205 and the fan kicks in , if the fan would kick in sooner it would yeild a lower temp all around the motor
(how much i dont know )

I loose a little power when the motor has been running for a while, this happens when stuck in traffic, or just driving around town with allot of stop signs, for like an hour or 2
So by buying this i hope to keep the motor running cooler
