Do the black Recaro seats only come in 4dr Type Rs?

Actually, my father flies to Japan rather frequently, and the sales manager at the local Honda dealership told him that when you buy a Type R there, you get the choice of what color interior, i.e. Recaros you would like with it.

 

i believe the JDM Type-R's have red recaro seats standard (except PY) but they can have black Recaros instead as an option.

 

most of 2 door 98specR comes with black recaro, but they can choose either they want red, black in CW, red, black, and yellow can choose any colour.

 

so you could get a red car with yellow guts? gross

yup thats correct although Honda subject to availability would consider swapping any recaros for any color for the DC2 here in AUS.
