I used a can of base (Honda Flamenco Black Pearl mix) and a can of clear from Automotivetouchup.com...I used up both cans and put about 4-5 coats each....results were pretty damn good using light back and forth stokes.

Cost me about $37 shipped.


Anyway...here are pics...still need to wetsand and buff it

Very nice results. Might just do this instead of getting my mirrors and lip painted professionally.

Not yet...car is going to the body shop next monday to get the front end fixed and painted.

And I decided to paint my lip instead of the body shop b/c it is cracked slightly on the bottom and coming up just a hair where it can be seen...repairs for it would just add more to the cost of my collision repair so...and my insurance is not covering me for my accident...

The specs you kinda see are deep *** rock chips that didn't come out when I was sanding it...they needed to be filled but I ended up not doing that

Ya how would that look, and also if I painted a front bumper with that stuff? How much was it?

 

i havent searched to hard but apparently duplicolor sells OEM colors in rattle cans for like 6 bucks a can. I used some to paint something and it came out ok, just used a lot of clear cause the rattle can crap wont last as long.

Check it after about half a day of driving and tell then you will realize that it's much like shampooing your hair in the morning. Rinse and then repeat.
