Default Need to know all grounds and anything else that would cause electrical problems.

So my 97 prelude is causing me one hell of a headache. Somewhere, something is touching something it shouldnt be.

Here is a thread I made on it:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2015478

It really seems like I'm going to have to figure this out myself, but since I hate wiring and dont know it its going to be difficult.

One solution that I thought of is that my drivers side fender lining came off and the wiring eventually fell down and hit the tire while driving. The wires came exposed and that was fun. However, I got under there and taped each exposed wire with electrical tape, so could that still be it?

Check the ground on the bottom of the thermostat housing if you recently worked on your engine at all.

Otherwise all I can think is that you exposed a wire, which in turn shorted out something else. If you worked on the head at all there's a ground right on the driver's side of the valve cover, and another on the bottom of the thermostat housing.

I'm sorry, I didn't read the thread you linked to.
