Default s2000s competition

Uh, i have a friend with a 3.2 type s (stock, but not for long). I have a cousin about to get a 350Z im on the verg of buying a s2000 and wanted to know what kind of cars have given you competition. Winning doesnt necessary matter its more about presenting a driving challenge to me. Oh, please dont refer to any you tube videos as a referance of your opinion. Real racing experiances people.

In all pure raw forms, the s2k is a dedicated track car. Turbo kits and supercharges are readily available for the purchasing if you have the $ for it.

It honestly all depends on what you want. Test driving them all is the only way to decide. You cant get the experience from us telling you over the internet.

the S falls into an odd class that rarely has any close competition.... you are talking about a 4-bangin' monster roadster

With R-compounds and bolt-ons, I could keep up with the C5 Z06's and Elises at Laguna Seca, SOW, but they edge me out at CalSpeedway and Buttonwillow, the latters being faster tracks. Evo's can be tamed with the same mods, but not STi's for some reason.

"Racing" sure is a word used loosely nowadays.

E-racing and bench racing is considered racing too, supposedly.

I hate them just a little less than those who call themselves "racers" and don't even know that they are not in legitimate race.

:sighs:

So many people learning the "wrong way" nowadays.

Speaking of which, who won at Nurburgring? I missed the last 3/4 of that race. I did see Hamilton eat the wall at qualifying on Sunday though.

Sucks for them. I guess Mercedes might get the manufacturer's championship this year?

Thanks for the info F1 fanatic forum ninja. I had grilling, boozing, and whoring to do when it happened. I'll try to keep up.

Yeah he got passed by Alonso. It wasn't the cleanest pass, because they touched, in which Alonso admitted so.

Plain and simple, the Mclaren was faster than the Ferrari when both were shod w/ intermediate wet tires. When shod with dry tires, the Ferrari was faster. Even Massa admitted it.

This was the scene right before they went up to the podium: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...2F%2F

Edit:the video of Alonso and Massa in a heated disagreement was taken down.

I'm telling you guys, everytime I watch F1 on TV I hear the sounds of the cars flying by from Long Beach GP. It gives me a woody.

Wonder if I can YouTube the whole race...

I would expect the z06 would rip you new one on laguna seca. you can top 140+ on the straights.

The "common person" who knows cars has a good understand of what cars compete well against the S2000 in different types of racing. This thread is horrible like most of the ones in this section.

Yes, but I'd get a whole marker of braking advantage.
