beep sound when key in ignition...help

beep sound when key in ignition...help
Ever get anoyed by that sound when you leave your door open with the key in the ignition??
just wondering if there a maine fuse that has to be disconnected for this to stop beeping..

yeah forgot the make....99-00 civic SI....(ex usdm)
no when you leave your lights on it makes a continuous beep...
when key is in ignition and door is open the beep goes with a beat. (you get my point)
and yes i did following......but where is the plug itself..?

it is your icu- integrated control unit, behind the under dash fusebox...there's a thread here to get rid of the sound and im tryin to find it now

Yes it is, Just trying to let him know its the same chime for lights and doors. And I used to forget to turn off my lights when driving during the day.

not sound when key is in ignition and also lights on when car is off
hi my honda civic ex 2004 does not beep when i leave lights on and turn te ignition on and also if the dor is opened with the key in, please tell me what can i do

Check your fuses. Mine did not beep and forgot to turn off my lights. Battery died 2 times. I figured out it was a blown fuse in the hood for dash accesory i think. Replaced it. Now it beeps. Its anoyying having the beep while key on accesories -.- i think i might remove the fuse. I have a 96 civic ex btw. Would be useful if there was a way to only beep for the headlights
