Default Help. ek vs ep. Which one should i buy?

hi folks.
i have been with a ek coupe for about 1.5 year now (my first car). my mom needs a car, so she ll take the ek.

I have been in the market for about 1 month to look for a EK hatch (96-00). They are rare and sold freaking fast. 200 miles radius around houston, i count not find one that fit my desire (clean, manual, CX or DX)...
Although i ran across some nice EP3...(the 5 lugs looks real nice)

Please give me some pro or cons about the eks and ep3s...and help me decide!

PS: i have been in love with honda hatches. car will be used for dd (100 perday) + autocross 12 times a year

i see that the 02-03 has 4 lugs. 04-05 has 5 lugs.

what are other differences btw the 2 years range? which one is better?
Do you guys ever have some wierd problem with any of them?

04-05 have 5 lug which is cool, but 02-03 have the good rear lights (easy switch to an 04-05)! The thing that sucks about the car is K20a3! I love it... it is just a little underpowered car. It is faster stock to stock than a 99-00 si but they have true v-tec! I recommend the EP just because of the rarity of them! Good luck with your search!

You're getting a great deal then. That low mileage on an unmodded car. What color is it?

I think your answer is going to be a little bias in this section.....

The EP/DC5's never appealed to me in the "driver" category as much as they did the "comfort/luxury" category.

EK's are rawwwwwwww, I wish I still had mine.

kind of in the wrong forum asking all us epers if you should get one. haha. i love mine. i have a 00 coupe totaled it and now got my ep and its been a blast. you rearly ever see another one on the road, looks so cool, fun to drive, the list goes on. id say get one and if you dont like the lack of power you can always do a swap just like you would have done in a ek.
