how different in the installation process of a short ram intake between a 4th gen accord and a 5th gen?

ok cool thanks. so there is no sensors or anything in the intake box or any or the pipes anywhere?

 

Not on mine...I used an AEM for a 5th gen.

 

so im taking apart the stock intake and there is this little box that is sitting just above the intake tubes that go from the front of the battery to the intake box in the back. there is a little hose attatched to the bottom pipe. whats that? aparently its the intake control system.

that's just a vacuum line that u have to re-route with another vacuum line. there's also gonna be a line that's got some antifreeze in it and u can re-route that to the hose directly behind and below it. be sure to take out ur stock air box though. i tried my sri with and w/o it and i got much more sound and power without the stock box.
