Default Will this engine die at this rate?

Claims its a stock D16Y7 with ITB's. Does the reving sound high to you?

and damn.. ITB's make a SOHC sound so nice! I want some now.. Are they of any power benefit really?

Either he made it to 55mph in 1st gear, or he's using a JDM cluster.

As for the tach, I don't see how ITBs alone can give a Y7 a 8200 RPM redline.

I'm sure he also has the ecu chipped but just wondering how the engine is still living with all that reving.. 8,200 + Stock D16Y7 = no no.. right?

He needed to slow the fvck down. I kept waiting for a loud crashing sound and the camera to go flying.

so many things in that vid are off... the shifting doesnt ever match the tach, lots of noise with little acceleration, the engine is NOT revving that high- you can hear it, and its sounds like its maybe around 7-7400 rpms, the keys are always angled towards the front of the car, why put ITB's on a stock engine? im willing to bet its bogus b.s.... fake fake fake.

as for single cams and ITB's making power, i know of a guy thats puts down 173whp in his, i think its a z6.

videos and youtube don't always go well.. sometimes during the conversion process of the video it'll throw the sound off sync with the vid.. but ehh..
