Default Auto Cars?

I have a 2006 Civic EX coupe.. and unfortunately it has ... yes you know.. an auto tranny. So i was just thinkin, exactly what all can i do to make it better (performance wise) than all the other autos? i know theres not much you can do but i just wanna see all the cards on the table i guess. thanks in advance

you could do the basic i/h/e, maybe some suspension

i also saw a turboed auto on this board

Honestly.. and I've said it a million times.. there is nothing that will net you any significant power gains on an R18 other than.. nitrous or a turbo. Pick your poison.

Yes you will get the occasional guy who claims their R18 can now chirp 2/3/4/whatever gear because they just put in a CAI.. don't beleive the hype. I find it hard to beleive anyone can feel 2-3 whp gains on a car, but that's just me.

If you are honestly looking into the AJP turbo for your AUTO R18.

you should really reconsider it due to the following

it will be equal to..... a STOCK civic si
No more warranty (motor/trans)
etc etc

You'd be better off taking the 3-4k
and trading in your auto ex WITH that cash and buying a fully warr. brand new civic si which would net you where you would have been with the boosted ex AND a warranty AND better resale value.

I agree, the resale value alone is worth it in the Si, but if you want to go fast, youre going to need a K motor.
