You might be better off asking what brands people have had good luck with and going from there. I have NEVER seen good results from replica lighting. Usually they dont fit for **** or they dont hold out water. Just a point of advice
eBay
just have to search there
there are tons that say they are ctr but a blocked out and crappy
i think out of 10 pages i found 3 decent ones
just spend some time there
try different searches on eBay
not just ctr headlights
i think i had some luck with civic headlights you just go through a bunch of bs and projectors
but type in the year you need and civic lights and i guarantee you will find something

thanks guys. Im really trying to replace my headlights with something new because they are oxidized beyond the point that I can clean them. I've tried wetsanding and plastic polish, but it only helped 50%. Im not necessarily after CTR headlights. I just see a lot of pictures on H-T of EK9's with nice clear dark housing headlights. I guess Ill start PM'ing people.

Some people dont have 450 to spend on headlights, I have the factory ones that came with my 99 hatch sprayed black. The drivers side is crappy and gets fogged up, so im probably gonna be looking for some new ones soon but im not buying anything that expensive. I would just go factory and call it a day with stockies

I can respect that. Fact is though, if you are very picky... replicas will not satisfy you. I haven't seen a set in person that fits like oem.

Here you go, I've been looking for them too. I guess the gunmetal color doesn't seem to be exact, and I wish they had amber reflectors but they look good for the money.
For those of you complaining about after market fitment, with any set of headlights you buy you will have to bend mounts and refit them into the body unless you get lucky, doesn't matter if they are OEM or not. I have a set of crappy aftermarkets with blacked out housings that have been going strong for 3 years and fit just fine, can't complain for 150$ but now I'm looking for the gunmetal color instead.

Yeah but there is a LOT less work to be done to get oem's in. I have played with both and the rep's just are not worth the time imo.

wow then, I guess, for me an extra 30 minutes of my time and applied bodyshop skills is definitely worth 350$

I traded my stock headlights for ctrs and the time of swapping both sets... that was worth it for me...
Not to mention the fact that once you get the rep's to fit the same as oem... they still are not equal in quality. So yeah, I find the ctr's to be worth the extra money.
