The race portion was pretty good, would have been great to see some more coverage of the sportsman classes, but can't ask for too much.
As for the "stylefest", I haven't decided what was funnier...the guy with the porchse stating he had "twin garrett r35 double bearingballed turbos", or the dude in the lowrider who said he had a "nascar muffler exhaust system...and it's chrome plated".
Overall,
to ESPN2.

A lot better than Moroso. All in all not that bad
Is it possible to have more interviews of the pro's and Sportsman?

In a perfect world lol
I won't be able to see it for a few more days, too beat after work and no time before

hell yeah, wouldnt that be the day! but these shows were pretty good tonight. Amanda has redeemed herself in my eyes. I wish the first couple shows wouldnt have been a wash out though. the interviews this time were much much better and informative.
Gary, you have another email.

the girl is always trying to crack a joke. It gets old after the first few failed attempts.... but the racing coverage is pretty dang solid. The camera work was much smoother this time than last time
I watched late last night. It must agree, it was ALOT better than the 1st time. Amanda was a lot better this time around. But as much as we complain about the show, bottom line we need more racers in the classes...
Stylefest, well it is what it is...

i don't even bother to watch the stylefest portion so no comment on that
but the drag racing coverage was great, a lot better than the previous VIR episode that i saw and commented on. It didn't seem as if the girl was in this episode as much which made it a bit more bearable to watch. From years past the updates on the shows format is excellent. It is actually offering a fairly good perspective on the sport compact drag racing series without cluttering with too much over the top production to try and make it relate to the younger crowd.
It almost feels as if the show has grown up a bit and that makes it much more enjoyable.
but...no one cares that manufacturers don't make race suits for women

Told ya, Gary...
I was also completely against that bit and the rest of the shows have moved on to actual racing / technical information.
The Etown bit was supposed to be about safety equiptment in general, highlighting Oakley, however that's what they ended up wanting me to talk about, I too thought it was stupid...
Liberty's Gears transmission will be talked about in the Atco coverage, Big Stuff 3 will be featured in the Vegas coverage.

yeah, i like what bruno has been doing on giving a bit more of the technical side of things in some small segments, wish it could be expanded even a bit more, i am sure there are a lot of people that are just catching the show while flipping through the channels that still don't understand the technical aspect of the sport compact drag cars and bruno's segments bring a bit more insight to those people
liberty feature will be great
a profwd car feature would be great as well, those cars are amazing and a lot of people never get a chance to see one with its body work off to see how complex and creative they are
