Default replaced head gasket now oil lights on

I've replaced 6 or 7 head gaskets on different motors and never had a problem, The last 2 (16a6 and d15b7) the oil light is staying on when you drive it. You can let the car sit at idle for an hour, if you want, with no problems but as soon as you drive it the oil light comes on. Everything seems to be fine with the plug at the sensor and there's plenty of oil. And I'm doing something wrong here?

so which of the two was the last you did? could you have installed a non vtec gasket and its not allowing oil to flow correctly (to the head.)

Wrong headgasket or installed incorrectly.

Don't think the head gasket is wrong. I flipped it and it seemed fairly obvious which way was right. But I could've screwed up. Any other ideas???

Well it didn't have oil pressure problems till you did work to it right? So obviously something you did caused the problem you have. We don't know what you touched so go back over your work and see what you did wrong.

did you change the oil after you finished the head gasket?

could have gotten coolant down the oil galleys and into the oil pan.

lol... that wouldn't make a difference. This pic here is of my old D15B7. I ran it mixed with coolant a long time without realizing my headgasket was bad. Never once had an oil light ever go on.

Did you torque it down to spec?

what a mess is right... on someone's hardwood floors. the reason i asked if it could be wrong is cause the parts store could have given you a non vtec gasket. which doesn't have all the oil provisions.
