coilovers or springs?????????
how many people have coilovers on their integras
are they bad
everyone says that the bushings go bad and that they squeek after time
i mean whats the deal
this is what i want to do......
i have stock tires and stock gsr rims on my 00 integra
and i want to drop my car with little or no tire wear problems
this car is not a daily driver and i would like to go fairly low maybe 2 inches
since i dont really care about raising the car and lowering it
i think springs are the way to go.
but what spring and shock combo is good
koni yellows i will probably get whats a good spring that will lower my car the right way. i mean how low can i drop a integra without getting into that camber problem seroiusly
because that scares the sh out of me.
or
are coilovers the way to go. are they easier on the budget?

depends on what you want them for...daily driver + occasional autox get springs
for track use and autox use get coilovers.
For all the above and a rough ride either way get coilover the money spent now may save you the hassle later
I am getting Ground control coilovers, koni yellows, ERS springs 400/500 rates i blieve i ordered

go for neuspeed sport or h&r sport springs!!! They have a nice drop, good performance and quality. don't go for coilover because they will seize up!! since you live in rochester, if you drive all year round you will get salt in the threads of the coilover and it will seize so **** it!!
Get coilovers. I show at events and also drag, so at the shows you can drop it to the floor, and then raise again for ddriving. Plus the coils aren't as firm, but still good handeling. I have skunk2 and have had them for 3 years no problems yet.

I recommend camber kits for all drops .. my friends tell me theres rides fine ... and im sure certain cars probably arent that bad... but come on ... if you can see the wheel leaning in ... common sense will tell you that most of the grip/pressure is being put on the inside of the tire
Ive never used a coilover .... would be nice to slam it ... but i live on the coast ... and like the guy was saying about salt..etc gettin in the thread sounds very probable here ...
