lotta new pics/dyno
Well after regretting my decision to go turbo for many long months, i'm finally satisfied with what i've done. Turned the boost down a little, new clutch, some tuning, and the car runs great. I've been driving it every day with no problems now that my wife totalled the other car. Clutch takes a little effort but other than that nothing but fun, even in the twisties. I wish i was near a computer more often so i can post more as my trials and tribulations with this car and a 98 that i had(stolen)go back nine years........ Logged in here last week and cried laughing at the vtec solenoid thread BTW..

I really need to clean valve cover

This is looking into hole in bumper.Looks bad but really gets some nice air flow to radiator as you can see

Took trim piece off on passenger side near wipers. Also to get some air into engine bay..

Previously made 511 with a little more boost

Plan to finally get some decent mileage on this mule

17 yr old kid dropped his cell-phone, went looking for it, veered into oncoming traffic and hit the wife head-on..Total loss..

Thanks for looking..

Sorry, I just find that a rather funny statement, seems many regret doing the same thing.
Def not diggin this cutout either.

That's a sweet looking R you got there
I love everything about it except for the cutout in the bumper
and I hope that your wife is ok. IT looks like the Porsche took a really bad hit

I only regretted the decision because i couldn't drive the car for a while. Now that i have it i love it. Drove a stock ITR the other day and was happy i did what i did. I'm kinda proud of this car because it took me a lot of hard work to finance it, so i wanted to share..I hate cut-out too but it works..

Wow, nice power band on that dyno sheet!!!! Makes me cry to see a hole being cut into that 97 R front bumper, but it doesn't look toooooo bad.
on a sweet job / reliable (hopefully) tune.

Glad to hear she's recovering well. Teenage drivers FTL. Just had a bad wreck up here where 5 high school girls were killed in a SUV, one of them driving.

Yeah FI guys really worry about cooling. Never even thought about the trim piece near the top of the hood. 445whp is really good, especially with what looks like a stock intake manifold and closed loop wastegate. Was this on pump gas or on race gas?

Glad to hear the wife is doing ok. I remember seeing pics of your car a while back and thinking "nice boxter", then I saw the pic. At least the R is faster than the Porsche was.

wondering the same as well,
glad to hear that your wife is doing ok as well. Thats why they are called accidents but at the same time they do suck.
