Alot of Honda people bash GM and have complained alot about what they have done in Sport Compact Drag Racing. Some of these people are on professional race teams. It was interesting to see that some of these race teams had no problem at all utilizing the GM Support trailer this past weekend to help them repair their non-GM racecars.

Interesting, I noted the same thing.
I bleed Honda blue, but those Ecotec's sounded damn sweet this weekend.

All I have to say is that is it is nice to see manufacturers put money in our sport. It might be the thing that takes us to the next level and keeps SC racing going. Thumbs up to GM and Scion.

Brian, no ****! And I can see why everyone hates GM because all the other manufacturers have done SO MUCH over the years...
The fact that there's even a GM Support Team period, nevermind the motor and tranny program they put forth, is enough for anyone to look towards the manufacture of the car they're running to bash before GM....

just an observation but if GM wasnt in it the feilds would be alot smaller.
GM in Sport compact just gives us honda guys something to shoot for. I mean how many other racers can say they have beaten a factory backed team?

GM Support has helped our team numerous times whether it be advice and answers to questions or assistance with other issues.
The guys at GM have been giving me advice for two seasons now and even before we hit the track...it has helped our program by making sure we arent going in a wrong direction with our car.
I'm glad GM is in SC drag racing...they inspire me to keep moving forward.
Thanks GM for helping us out.

the GM guys and gal were a bunch of good people! it was nice meeting everyone over there. Its too bad we cant see your team(s) come upto Canada to a CSCS event, and show everyone want professionalism is all about!

Glad you said it first !
We sure see alot of nonGm people asking for help at our events too. Not that our team is out doing what Ballard is but we are working hard and never say no to anyone needing somethig at the track.
