Default Help: Shifter noise

Ever since I swapped out my stock OEM shifter bushings with Energy ones, there is a vibration noise coming from my shift ****. Is this normal for Energy bushings or did I overlook something? Checked my shift **** and it is well secured.

That sounds ok. I get a slight vibration with the mugen bushings about 4-5k rpm also. Energy bushings are harder so they probably make more noise.

The sound of vibration appears only after 7000rpm for me. Was considering putting the stock bushings back because the energy wants don't really seem to do much to the shift feel.

mine made a major difference in shift feel. Feels very solid and mechanical like the s2000 shifter. No vibrations or noise here though.

Maybe my engine mountings are weak, resulting in engine shifting while driving. Therefore the shifter feel doesn't maintain. It feels solid at times, but sticky sometimes. Especially into 2nd.

Which of the mounts would be the problem? Or should I replace them all?

Don't replace any of them until you know they're bad. Just looks for cracks or imperfection in the rubber parts of each of them.

Inspect the rear tranny mount first.

The SO4 wordings on the mounting at the timing belt is slightly stretched at an angle. Can this be a symptom?

just make sure your bolts aren't super tight and put generous amounts of grease on those bushings

There is still vibrations transmitted all the way to the gear stick. Changed the front bushing at the tranny to a oem one and no more vibration/rattling. The rear ones are still energy.
