Default Aftermath of changing the cv axle and lower control arm ball joint.....PLEASE HELP!!

This weekend i changed the cv axles twice after the first new axle i put in there snapped in 3 places due to a faulty lower control arm ball joint. The car was sitting on the ground with a snapped axle and we had to tow it using a jack and a truck to slowly move it, since the wheel wouldnt stay on. Needless to say i got it all repaired, but now my car feels like it is floating. it feels like the drivers side is higher then the passenger side of the car. and now it seems to make the car more bouncy. Does anyone know how to fix this? Did i do something wrong?

Take the car to a shop since you obviously don't know how to work on it yourself.

killed a shock maybe.. purpose of shock is to absorb .. "bounciness" provided from the spring.. it provides the opposing force when the spring streches or compresses... no shock = spring always in relaxed (non compressed) position during cruising.. then hit bump and nothing to limit the bounce .... err faulty lower *****

To Archidictus: it could of happened to anyone jackass. I know how to work on cars. So bugger off mate.

To w0ng_sta: The only thing I can think of that maybe killed the shock was when the axle snapped and the lower control arm hit the ground, but wouldn’t think that would blow a shock out, but I guess its possible, thanks for the help.

yes it could have happened to anyone.this is a help forum not a forum for the weak minded who have to act rude just to make themselves feel better. Try being a little more curtious next time. You obviously think the only way to fix something is taking it to a shop....well i rather do it myself as well than get ripped off just like most people....Not to mention cars arent a labrynth....they can be fixed by about anyone...EVEN A GIRL....like myself. So before you want to rant at someone....know the facts...Not to mention knowing that anything like that could happen. (ill start being nice..when you stop being a jackass) thanks and have a nice day
