So Saturday afternoon, I'm cruising down I-85 in Atlanta on my R6 in the far left lane at about 85mph, just minding my own business when out of the corner of my I see another biker pull up right beside me in the same lane. At this point I'm like "ooooooookay, what is this d00d doing...?"

Then, I saw him reach out his "Mechanic" gloved hand and swat at my right clip on and pulls off in front on me...now I'm thinking "WTF was that?"

Then, my bike starts slowing down, I see cars in my mirrors coming up on me and need to speed up, I give it throttle and no response...that ******* asshat had hit my killswitch while I was on the highway!!!

WHO DOES THAT ******* ****??

Anyway, after I realized what the asshat had done, I flipped the killswitch and bike was back on. I thought for a second maybe I should chase the guy and get his tag but then thought, we'll if he's stupid enough the pull that kind of **** in the first place, Lord knows how he'll react if I chase him, so I let it be...and continued on my way thankful that I did not get into an accident cause of that fuggger.

Lesson from all of this, guard your killswitch!

WOW, that is crazy I would never think that there were people that dumb in this world. I have some people cut me off I would like to think it was cause they didn't see me. But another rider doing some dumb **** like that is just uncalled for

 

The last person you would assume to do some dumb **** to you on the roads would be another guy on a bike.

Currect me if I'm wrong, but turning off your motor at speed would lock the rear wheel unless you clutch it.

 

you're wrong it wont lock it up, the engine will just decelerate.

i would have chased the guy though and gave him a piece of my mind ... this is something you do with friends when you're messing around, not when you're minding your own business on the freeway.

It would be just like you let off the gas. The compression would decel your bike just like if you let off the gas, no different.

In fact, in honda cars, when you let off the gas and decel in gear, the ECU actually cuts the injectors to save on fuel. Next time your driving a stick vehicle (try it on your bike too), get your rpms up, let off the gas while in gear and kill your ignition switch, now turn it back on, you will probably notice ZERO difference except for the trouble lights, that's it.

Yes yes I made a mistake, my bad. I've never had that happen on my bike and the one car that did that didn't react to smoothly to the engine cut, but whatever.

anyone who didnt have a nostalgic flashback about "public enemy no. 1", blows. god i loved that game.

 

this guy I know told me about this.. When he rides with his uncle(bunch of bikers/harleys) they do this kind of stuff just as a game(he rides rr, my friend that is). but pulling that **** to a total stranger is messed up! First because u dont know WTF, and second what if he did that **** to a beginner? He would've freeked out and maybe get in an accident!

 

If that would of happened to me, I would of caught up to him and shot out his rear tire.

Damn we an my buddies used to do that to each other before a red light turned green I couldn't even imagine having a complete stranger do that to me i would be livid I do believe I would have chased him and attempted to kick him over at speed or wait to catch him at a light run up to him and hit him as hard as i could in on his back with my helmet then push him over

 

afta reading this i think i will start carring a "b!tch beater in my tank bag. chuck that **** into front tire at 85mph

 

best to report these people...think about it, you could have gotten hurt or killed.

i remember one time i was 16 or so we went down the shore in a blazer. coming back we had a watergun out the window that looked like an uzi but it was see thru, and we were pretending to shoot random people...i know we were young and dumb.

so then this biker on a harley gets on, we aim at him, and he gives us a very pronounced, agrravated middle finger...so we get pissed and flip him off in return.

immediately this kamikaze idiot gets in front of us and starts brake checking us, forcing us into the left lane on the garden state parkway, until we come to a halt with traffic flying by us full speed. left lane is the fast lane btw. we're boxed in between the divider and this guy and a car behind us honking and this guy comes over to my window (passenger) and starts pounding on the door trying to get in and yelling you wanna fight? we were pretty scared, because this guy was pretty big, but more than that, because he was a total ******* basketcase. we just locked the doors and he eventually quit and no one got hurt, but we could have been rear ended, or better yet, unable to stop and run over his dumbass.

anyway we got his plates and reported him to the police...it was the least we could do.

thinking back now, if i was the driver, i would have probably floored it as soon as he got off the bike leaving him standing in the middle of the highway next to a heap of scrapmetal after our 4x4 mauled his bike

 

This is why they should make it legal for people to carry hand guns. You should of road up and grabbed his front brake, see how he likes that haha.
