Default what happens if i don't run a pcv valve on 91 teg

it's actually for my hatch. . . .but on the engine what happens if i run without a pcv valve just a breather?

because the grommet broke. . . so i'm in the process of rigging something up, but if that doesn't work then i will be doing something else. . . .

anyways any advice would help

Are you asking if the car will run fine without it? If so, yes it will. Do you have emissions where you live?

search for "breather" and i guarantee youll find some answers. i was looking for the answer to this question myself.

short answer: through my research id say do not use it. search and youll find out why. can you run without it? sure many people have for years. should you just spend a little extra cash and ensure that your motor is safe? even a better idea.

Punctuation is key to people understanding you.

Your sig is a lie. Give me the keys to your car and I bet you I can kill it in 1 hour.

Do not run a breather! You will never get it to idle right because you are basically creating a vacuum leak. I know it is a bit of a pain to get to to and replace the grommet and pcv valve, but you will be rewarded with a car that idles correctly performs better and stays in compliance with your states emissions standards at least in this regard.

Cheers

Yet again, punctuation is key to people understanding you.

If you need to pass emissions where you are, then yes you will need to have the PCV.

You ever think that maybe some people just need to hear that they are stupid, or asking stupid questions? When you see the same questions get asked in the same day it starts to get to you. There was just a thread about PCV, what it does, and the purpose of a catch can. All the info you need to know about it is on there. There has also been many many different threads about it over the years.

I thought this wasn't suppose to turn into an 8 yr old fight? Seems to me like you just got into your computer class for the day. Nap time should be coming up soon. Hopfully after that you can go to english class and learn how to form a sentence.

PCV is an emissions device. You don't need it (if you don't have to pass emissions). You guys love to get off topic and argue

If you remove it, just install a breather and cap the other end (on the intake).
