Default lsv.. which cams is better??

im building a lsv motor.. stock internals... which cams would be better for that setup?? itr cams or the blox stage 1 cams?? thanks for the info guys...

both are good my buddy had the blox on his lsv and its fast and vtec sounds crazy my bro had lsv hatch with type r's sounds and pulls good too they r both good id go with the blox in my opinion

my buddy and i put ITR cams into his LSV and it runs great....he went them the ITR simple b/c of the deal he got...couldn't pass it up

i was wondering....i can get a blox stage 1 for $320 and brand new itr cams for $250... i dont really know which one to go with..haha thanks guys!!!

neither are particularly good for a stock internal lsvtec, but itr's from your options.

well blox stage 1's are slightly bigger so it stands to reason they'll make a little more power

Or you could spend ~$200 for JDM ITR pistons and get a much better hp increase... Or pay $300 for cams and get like 3-5hp...

yeah but changing pistons for labor cost a grip... get the blox stage 1s it makes more power then the ITR for sure

i already changed all the bearings just to be safe and the rod bolts to arp....i think ill handle the blox cams.

blox cams are a little bigger and vtec sounds louder i no cuz my buddy had them on his lsv and my bro had type r on his lsv and the blox were louder and pulled a little better you found blox for $325??? where?? everywhere i look its like close to $400 give me the site where you found for 325??

I would go with CTR cam i had them in one of my builds and it ran good.

not really

usdm 00-01 itr and ctr cams are identical
