I need to know what yall think about this. I have a H22 in my civic and it is acting up. Should i take it out or build it for racing?

WTF is wrong with it? Have you determined whether the motor is done for good or if it's just something minor?

I think you need to properly diagnose what exactly the problem is before you start jumping to conclusions and ****

that sounds about right. It just making alot of noise whem i start it up. it sounds like something is loose in the bottom half of the motor. I'm going to park it and see what my next step is. that is why I;m asking the question. To get some imput from everyone else.

yea but if he did spin a bearing theres a VERY good chance the crankshaft is effed and can end up blowing up. was just there with my d series -- spun bearing in crank and in trans..had to replace everything...but eventually the motor started knocking and burning oil and then BOOM!

so get a professional evaluation first by someone trustworthy, not someone looking to just make a buck.

very true. u dont wont to start taking stuff apart and looking at it if u dont know what u are doing. so ya a professional evaluation would be best.
