I want STIFF springs for my CRX.. Guide me to them..
I want some stiff springs for my crx.. any brands on who i should go for...also, how would i go by comparing them according to spring rates? is that what i would look for.? thanks.
Skunk 2 coilovers for a DC2 integra (fits the same but much stiffer than CRX set) sitting on tokico 5 ways is the most affordable quality suspension you can get that will be VERY stiff on that REX. Thats the exact setup I run on my CRX and it's freakin stiff and almost unbearable on rough roads..........almost. Though I am more tolerable to a stiff ride than most people I know because I just love the performance gained when at the track or anywhere else for that matter.
You won't get stiffer than this for any cheaper
I'm sure there are alot of CRXers out there to back me up on this one.

alright man, if you want the BEST go with ground control coil overs. they use state-of-the-art sleeves and eibach race springs (ERS). they are the best money can buy, and all you need for street, and track (if you're still using the stock shock configuration, no push or pull rods, or full tube chassis). they come in soft, medium, or sporty; and you can get the race springs where you specify the spring rates. if you're going to do some track days and things and want the best handling you can get, but are willing to sacrifice a stiffer ride on the street, i'd say go with 400 front and 450 rear, if this is a track only car, rarely daily driven, go with 450 front and 550 rear. haven't heard about going much stiffer on a crx or civic 88-91. I am running 400 and 450 on my crx, EXCELLENT handling, do autocross mostly, ride is slightly bouncy, but i'm willing to put up with it. hope this helped
oh, yeah, http://www.ground-control.com and they cost around 350, springs and sleeves only

GC is a great product, I have used them and installed them on alot of Hondas but in this case the Skunk 2s are about $60.00 cheaper and already have the 400-500# spring rate if you use the Integra set and GC tends to charge more when you upgrade them rates. I also personally hate the ground control design of the locking collar because there allen screw that locks the perch down tends to seize way to easy and then you gotte get new collars. The skunks use 2 locking collars and in 10 years of use I have never seen that design seize, Hands down the Skunk 2s are just a better, more user friendly buy for this specific application
