Default crx vs ef lowering springs

gonna pick up some lowing spring online. the retailer offers springs not coilovers for my 4door, crx's, del sol's & DA's too but there probably longer since the DA strut is longer ciiw but the crx spring should be the same as my 4door spring correct?
and im thinking about getting the crx springs for my 4door becuz they might be softer becuz the crx is lighter. just an assumption. im also looking for some clearification.

I have had this issue before. There are a lot of things that are interchangable, but I'm not sure on the suspension. I want to say yes. I think the knuckles can be swapped? Not sure on the LCA, but if the LCA is the same the coilovers should be similar.

Works fine, but indeed the 1992-up coilovers are 1inch longer. So you can't really go slammed very well.
I didn't find anything about EF civic and CRX coilovers/lowing springs. But EG fits somehow I guess. And DA integra will. But they are both longer and require 'modification' of other pieces to work.

thats good info thanks. i think though coilovers are way more compatible becuz they are short and flat on both sides becuz they dont have to fit into the bottom mold of the strut. they sit on the collars. you know what i mean? one set of springs says it will fit
years 88 89 90 91 92 93 94 95 96 97 98 99 00 HONDA CIVIC
the others
88 89 90 91 HONDA CRX
93 94 95 96 97 HONDA DEL SOL (turns out del sol is heaviest) *might be hardest spring
that being said im counting the del sol's out. so its down to the crx and civic's ill ask to see both when i go to pick em up.

If it's from a well known shop, they should be able to help you out with their product.

EF/CRX are the same. Manufacturers make "universal fit" parts to cut down production costs. You can get generic coilover collars off ebay, and some generic springs if you want. They'll fit your stock shocks since performance isn't an issue.

surprisingly, the weight between models isn't too drastic... go cross reference them.

2103 <- CRX

Yup, weight is very similar. I did some research on the added weight of my B16 over the D15, not a whole lot.
