Default Changed the look of my SV today...

Just a little bit. Added an asymmetrical racing stripe.
It looks a little off in some photos, and that's because it kinda is, but it was pretty pain staking, and overall it turned out pretty nice.

i bought some bulk black tape from tapeworks and just cut it to the sizes i needed. They sell a racing stripe kit for going down the middle and it's pretty nice, but i knew i would need more tape for odd corners and stuff, so i bought bulk. Now i have lots left over for just in case scenarios.

Not gonna lie, I LOVED it all red, but the stripe is definitely cool, for doing something different.

Maybe a symmetrical second stripe on the other half of the bike?

I like it. The tankpad gets in the way though. I'd ditch the pad.

It would have been nearly impossible to finish around the tail. There were a couple of other rough areas too that it was hard to get the tape to bend to my will. I'm pretty impressed with tapeworks' stuff. The tape has a nice high sheen to it that doesn't clash with the bike's paint like most stickers would.
It would have looked better if it was paint, but this was a pretty cheap experiment, and it gave me something to do on a rainy sunday. Thanks for all the comments guys.

yea i don't know about how easily it comes off. But i've had to deal with some pretty stubborn stickers before, so i'm sure it's possible. At least, in the end, it is removable. If i ever wanted to sell it i'd want to ability to take it off.
