Turbo RS-T @ Auto-X in Deland, FL
Hey guys!
I haven't posted here in a long time. I posted this over that team-integra.net, but one of the moderators, tsugsr to be exact, is being a complete douchebag tonight. Anyways...
Just got back from an Auto-X today in DeLand, FL.
I took out my new RS-T. I hadn't been out for... 2 years? Maybe longer?
I had run a few times way back when, just enough to put me out of Novice Class. And unfortunately, due to my car's setup, I fit in the Street Modified Class (near top class). I had no chance of placing, but it was damn fun!
I came in dead last - a couple of seconds behind the other guys. That wasn't too bad, considering what I was up against! Click for Results. I'm at the end of the top section.
I also met a couple of cool people and hung out with them. Unfortunately, my Teg friends ditched me for the second time in just over a week. LAME! They also were supposed to be the ones taking the action pics AND bringing sunblock!
I highly recommend finding your local SCCA Auto-X chapter and checking it out! It is the most furn you will EVER have with your car! And if anyone is in Central Florida, you should try to make it out to the next event! I could use some more tegs to compete with!
I have a couple of videos from the run, and I'll post them up in a bit. Below are some pics!

The teg on the right was also in Street Modified (only because of a 4.9 ATS Final Drive) and belonged to Scott from Grassroots Motorsports. He's a really cool guy and I talked to him for awhile. Of course, he smoked me (he had slicks though).

As you can see, he's stolen my number! I picked it back in '02 so neener neener!

There was a SWEET *** Elise there too. It's too bad that the owner drove it like a complete *****...

I liked the decal on the hood of this S2k.

One of the guys that I met and hung out with drove this car. He did pretty well and won his class. I believe we ran the same time, if I recall correctly. I know I ran just slightly better than the other dude with the Z3 below (cams, etc).

Inbetween heats, I took some time out to take some pics of my Teg.

The problem with where my BOV is located is that I don't think I can run any strut tower bars
.

Just one of the (many) benefits of owning an RS! And my next mod needs to be a heat shield for the Air Filter.

Bye bye!
