You're better off swapping in the EX tranny.

Ok...I'm sorry. Maybe I'm missing somethin here..but if were talkin about 99-00 Si's, were talkin about a B series DOHC head. Pretty sure those dont mate up with D series SOHC blocks.

Yes, you are missing something.

They're talking about 92-95 EX/Si civics with a D16Z6. Not everything revolves around EM1's. Honda had tons of Si's before the EM1, and there have been plenty since.

Alright dick, I said IF we're talkin about 99-00 si's...I'm well aware of there are other Si's. However, it would not be the first time someone has asked if a B series head can mate up with a D series block. So chill with all your EM1 bashing. Cool, thanks. No reason to leave all negative posts with attitude when there was none to begin with. Take a xanax or somethin.

how could you ponder the possibility the op was going to mate a dual cam head on a dx block?

He said EX/Si ... that would mean he couldn't be talking about an EM1 because EM1's and EJ8's don't have the same motor. However, 92-95 EX's and Si's have the exact same motor.

So maybe you should go take some ******* Omega-3 ... you might be able to learn something.
