No they are not, and it's tough to tell from the rear like that but I believe it is.

Interestingly enough, that's the thing I hate the most about Si's ... that ******* color. It's so bland. There are such better variations of it in the Honda World (Voltage Blue, Supersonic Blue, Supermarine Blue) ... EBP is just kinda flat.

And as for nice interior .... I actually like the exterior way better. Just personal preference, but I like European vehicles.

I have my reasons. They tend to think their cars are the absolute shiznit, even when stock. They have a crappy gutless motor, an ugly color, and they get stolen for their "rare" parts.

Si owners are responsible for people calling every 99-00 part an "Si _____" ... it's ******* retarded. Si's aren't that different from EX's, but you people hold them up on some sort of pedestal. Even ITR owners aren't as bad .... and they're pretty bad.

Really, well I have a pretty much stock EM1. So unless you can find somewhere that I've done or said anything of those things, I'd say its pretty immature and classless to lump all of them together. Ya know? Plus I happen to love my FBP, I think its a beautiful color and a nice lookin car. Otherwise why would I buy it?

You're filling my stereotype nicely. You get really offended when I insult a MODEL of vehicle that you happen to own. I guarantee I wouldn't get offended if you decided to start talking **** about CX's .... I know their faults.

That's why I modified my car ... so it's no longer what it was from the factory.

Maybe you need to learn my friend. Im not offended you dont like Si's. I could care less, but if youre gonna call out all Si owners...well I'm an Si owner. I know the B16a2 for what it is. I know its not much different than Ex otherwise. I know what the engine can and can't do it. I never said Si parts are oh so rare or Si exclusive. So I'm not sure what stereotype youre talkin about? You dont like Si's...? Ok, do I care? Absolutely not. But don't sit here raggin on their owners, like theyre all a bunch of ricers tryin to say that they have the holy grail of hondas. Sadly enough, we are, as a community, a bunch of ricers. So you're the exception to the Si Owner stigma. Good for you. I'm the exception to the ricers, I guess. No matter how clean or fast or whatever a lot of Honda owner's cars are, I still see them out there driving recklessly, revving on my car, burning out in parking lots, and generally making a complete *** of themselves.

It's not about being a Honda owner, it's about being a young male. Sadly, most of the Si owners are still stuck in the same high-school mentality as the rest of the import scene, and they try to inflate their own ego and be "better" than their peers because of what they have.

So yes, I subscribe to the stereotypes .... because they're, for the most part, true.

Eran. Sadly a lot of people get judged by what people who are similar to them do. Whether its blacks, whites, muslims, hebrews, christians, men, teens, women, whomever. Maybe you have stereotypes for a reason. But as a person who doesn't fit that stereotype, and who didnt try to turn this into an online muscle flexing contest, don't judege. Yea I like my car, I know it well and what it can and can't do. So no I don't like being lumped in there. I get what youre saying, but get what I am too.

 

im guessing this is your first honda? and im pobally right bc in my experience newbs to the scence are anxious to get a vtec whatever.... the easiest route is to just buy a car that has the engine in it already when they do this they get a big head and learn nothing about how anything works... hence thats why ppl like this still call items Si this and Si that.

 

EBP is nice, but MR is the sexiest color for the EM1. It's rare, at least to me.
