Default Who Here Knows All the Differences in Integra Trim Levels?

I'm curious to know all of the different trim levels for the 1994-up Integra, and what the maindifferences are.

I know every single last detail on the 1992-1995 Civics and the differences in the trim levels, but I am not as sure on the Integras.

I know the basic differences, but not the trivial stuff that might not be"important" like when a certain trim was produced and when it was done.

Here's what I know about the 1994-up Integra - feel free to correct me because I could be wrong:

All of the RS, GS, and LS Integras had the same B18B motor, which is rated at 140hp, correct?

RS: Base model. Roll-up windows and manual doorlocks. No moonroof. Only trim besides Type R to not have moonroof, correct? Also RS has no ABS, which all the other trims did. Anything else different on them? Did they have a rear washer/wiper on them? Did they ever have 14'' wheels on them? Were the mirrors and side trims painted to match? Cruise control on it? Which year did they stop being produced? This model has always interested me since many seem to not know that it existed. Any RS owners out there?

LS: Next trim leveel up, right? Same as RS but added power windows, doorlocks, cruise control(?), rear washer/wiper(?). Available in automatic too.

GS: Same as LS but had leather? Another mystrey to me I guess. Only came in auto, or was manual offered?

Special Edition: Looked like a GS-R with leather? Only in automatic?

GS-R: 170hp B18C1 DOHC VTEC motor. Alloys standard. Seems to me verymuch like the other trims like LS but had better engine/tranny combo, different sus tuning like struts, different seats (patterns?), and maybe was the side trims and whatnot paint-matched wheras the others weren't? Never really paid enough attention.

Type R: Offered in U.s from 1997-1998 and again in 2000-2001. 195hp DOHC VTEC motor. I know all the diferences betwen the B18C1 and B18C5 (I've owned both) so that's not a question. ITR has stiffer unibody (which is nearly imporrible to duplicate, right?) better suspension and bigger brakes, 5 lug hubs, no moonroof, no rear washer/wiper on 1997-1998 models, right?. ITR has the different seats with suede bolsters, ITR-specific spoiler, better (stickier Potenza RE010) tires, bigger swaybars, etc.

Does that about cover the various trims? I know theres some of you out there who can corretc me and elaborate on the various trims and years. I know the Integra underwent minor changes in the 1998 year model in terms of looks and all, but were there also other changes like certain trim levels getting extra stuff or trims getting phased out?

Also lastly does anyone have a comprehensive list of the various colors and which trims they were available on, and which years they were available?

Thanks!

I have a 98 RS...

94-97 (OBD I) had 142 bhp

98-01 (OBD II) had 140 bhp

My car: no sunroof, manual locks, power windows, a/c, no ABS, no cruise (don't know if it was an option). I do have a rear washer/wiper...I really don't know what any of the differences between RS and LS are...which is why they stopped producing RSes in '98.

I have seen an RS with manual windows and doorlocks, so I guess that would be a 1994-1995 perhaps?

Anybody else know differences?

I think 94-95 RS, A/C was an option, I THINK. And I seen some RS's with power door windows or locks I forgot which one.

LS Special Edition is same as GS. They renamed it to GS in 97. Anybody know why?

Somebody's got to know this stuff for sure, right?

Where's the DC *****?

We have a handful of "EG" ***** on the Civic board that could answer Q's such as this one, so i figure there must be someone here too.

RS came with power windows no power door locks ac was an option and it also came with a rear windshield wiper this is for the 1995-1998. 1998 was the last year RS was made, RS integras weigh as much as a 1992-1995 civic si hatch

I swear I've seen more tha a few Rs Tegs with manual windows - DC style ones for sure.

Was that a 1994 thing only?

I know that the 1992 CX had vinyl seats but never again - same on the RS in 1994 withe crank windows?

It shold also be noted that the SE has a B18B (143 hp)- leather is standard and on a 98+ it's called the GS.

early LS models did not have painted side moldings, later models did. I think only 94-95 LS models didnt have the painted side moldings.

HAHAH MSN Carpoint I remember a while ago I searched info on the 95 GSR and it said it was turbocharged from factory/specs.. its like 3G's for a turbocharger kit.. it sure did NOT come standard..

I just went there right now and see they corrected it.. I contacted them a while back on this..

EDIT: WOW I'm sure ENVIOUS of you guys w/ 2000 & 2001 GSRs.. you guys have a factory turbocharger stock (according to MSN/carpoint) but still make 170 HP ..and look.. I wonder why the GSR for 2000/2001 has a turbo.. but not the Type R? hahaha oh wellz..

Hey B18C5-EH2, this is OT but, did you remove your bumper supports in your process of weight reduction, if so (to anyone else too if they have), approximately how many lbs. is deducted? thanks

Nope. Still got the bumper supports in. I still have the factory cast-iron exhaust manifold w/heat shields, the airbag wheel (but none of the SRS ECU or wiring), and the stock hood. Car still weighed 2040lbs though. With a header, non-bag steering wheel, C/F hood, and a lightweight flywheel I'll be well under 2000lbs. and still have the security of my bumper supports.

So can someone please tell me what year(s) the RS had crank-up windiws and crapola?

Sedan trims came with an actual trunk, the coupe/3door has a hatch back. 1994-1997 has different tail lights, different shape bumper lights and different front bumper and back bumper. Not that this matters with trim....anyway

The RS doesn't come with electric anything, but you can get as an option looks and windows and I believe no ABS available.

The LS comes with power window and locks with ABS and Sunroof as options you may get for it. The RS and LS both come with cloth seats. Also both car did not come with rims but rather hubbies .

The SE which was ONLY made in 95-96 is basically the GSR without the suspension and engine upgrades. It comes standard with sunroof, leather and power everything. It also comes with ABS. It is also common that is car is MOSTLY, but not always, found in automatic tranny. Also the 1995 SE got the GSR rims which are perhaps one of the most popular rims for the Integra. The side door moldings are painted factory. There is no third brake light in the hatch, instead a factory GSR spoiler w/ LED is used. In the sedan model, there is one. (The reason I know so much about the SE is because I used to own a '95 Sedan SE and now own a '95 Coupe SE :-D)

The GS was the "twin" of the SE but wasn't released until 1997, I believe, after they stop making the SE (Special Edition). Once again they are the GSR but without the goodies.

All these cars have the B18B1 engine in it that pushes out 140HP @ 6300 and 124lbs. @5200. This engine is the NON-Vtec 16 valve 4-cyl. DOHC.

The GSR has optional leather interior, sunroof, power windows and locks, 15" rims. It came with the B18C1 engine which pushes out 170HP@ 7600 128ltbs. @6200. This engine comes with VTEC (Variable Time with Electronic Life Control)There is no third brake light in the hatch area. GSR spoiler has an LED brake light.

Peace, take care!

Well I know that Acura had a Gs Integra in 1992-1993 also, so are you sure there wasn't a GS until 1997 or so? My fiancee's Mom had a 1993 4-door GS.
