Default Fuel Tank Removal

Installing a new tank and need to remove the old one. Service manual I have says I need to relieve the fuel pressure by using a 6mm on the fuel filter. Only problem is I dont know where the fuel filter is. Any help on location?

Service manual says to do that aswell as remove the service bolt on the filter. Found that out. Next thing is what the crap are the 2p and 3p connections?

I just removed two tanks this week. I thought it was pretty easy to do. Just unplug the two connectors under the covers from the inside of the car and the fuel line with the clip on it. The hardest part i thought was getting the rubber hose off the fuel tank where the fuel filler neck is.

Well im not sure what yr. teg u have but on my 93' it was on the top left of the firewall inside the engine bay. There should be a line that comes off the fuel rail so just follow that and see where it leads u. Good Luck.
