94 civic distributor??

94 civic distributor??
my friend has a 94 coupe with a d15b7 motor in it.... the guy that he got the car from claimed to drive the car daily and it ran fine.. but took the distributor off when he picked up to the car saying it was a friends he borrowed... will only one distributor work on this motor or are they universal throughout the d-series?? thanks
