2 random questions (insurance and alignment)
First, I was wondering if anyone lets their insurance company know about the mods they do to the car and gets them insured? If anyone does, how much does your insurance go up?
Second, can I get an alignment done (at Tires PLus) if I have a DCRH (no cat)?

how much the insurance is depends on what company you have. i'm sure everyone's is different. but i think that some companies won't do that. not sure which ones.
yeah you can get an alignment done..it's not like they are doing an inspection or anything.

I heard shops can get a $10,000 fine for letting a vehical leave without a cat. I'm wondering if that is only hardcore mechanic shops and places like Tires Plus are exempt.
Also I need my SRS reset. Could I go to Honda without a cat?

I don't throw any codes if that's what that solves. So it won't matter to any shop?

why not try the paperclip trick? its simple. here's what you do:
unplug the yellow SRS plug in the interior fuse box. stick one end of the paperclip in 1 terminal, the other end in the other terminal. turn the key to the position II. it should beep 3 times, then the SRS light should go off. take out the paperclip and it'll come back on. put it back in, it should go off, then flash twice or so, and then stay off. remove the paperclip, remove the key, and replace the yellow SRS plug. test it out by putting the key in position II, after all the lights go on they should all go off again.

Does that actually fix the SRS (will airbag go off if SRS light is off)? I had the same problem in my accord but didn't want to reset it myself because the wriet up said there is a chance that the airbags would go off. True?

I'll probably just go to Honda. $60 is worth it. Airbags have saved my life once already.
Thanks for answering the cat question. I have put that off for 4 months trying to get stock exhaust.
