Picked up a 2000 LS (2-door hatch) Integra last week. Maybe I paid a little too much. Would like some thoughts....

118000 miles
Totally stock
Automatic
New radiator, water pump, timing belt (all seals replaced, cams and such), new front breaks.
Body in great shape (few scrapes and bruises). Paint in great shape, no fading or flaking.
Ice cold AC.
ABS (maybe this is stock on LS's)
All electrics work
One-owner (older female).
Interior condition, excellent.
Drives great so far, transmission smooth. No hiccups (yet!)

No leakage from engine or tranny thus far. Body is tight and solid during driving.

Paid $4600....after tax, titling and such about $4900. I don't know why, but I jumped on the price. After seeing some of the examples out there, I thought this was in great condition.

Will probably be garage kept. I didn't realize the theft potential...that's for sure.

I bought it primarily as a daily driver.

if its really clean and perfect mechanically thats acceptable. if you baught it from a dealer hopefully you got a bit of a warranty.

the only thing really wrong with that car is the fact that its auto.

fact is for that price you could have gotten a nice GSR which is much faster. but the ls isnt a bad car.

 

price not bad but sucks its auto and its ls ive seen gsr's for cheaper but not as in good shape as urs so ya good deal i say

 

I appreciate everyone's thoughts...bought it from private owner. Seemed to have been babied most of it's life.

Probably won't mod it in any way. I know the automatic is a "negative" in most everyone's eyes, but I'm a little older than most here and, well, an automatic is ok at this time in my life. I just wanted a good, clean car and the Integra reputation is awesome. Besides, I really! like the styling. So, I hope to get many more miles out of it.

well sounds like your well off then, if that car was properly maintained which it sounds like it was, youll easily dubble those miles. good luck with it.
