ls/vtec ecu question
If your using a GSR maifold then use the P72.... if your using the B16 manifold then use the proper ecu for that application. You could always tune with Crome or Hondata on a P28 (i think that is the one)

guys I appreciate the replies but I have to run it OBD2. a p28 and crome or hondata is a no go. I have a S2 manifold on my GSR head so the p72 is lagging in the mid range.

use type r ecu thats what i do on odb2 lsv. unless u chip ur p72 to not look for the iab and such then itll work fine. i do the type r route for easy plug and play
why do you have to stay obd2? going obd1 and tuning is your best option overall.
if you must stay obd2, an itr ecu with some sort of piggy back can work.

Im in the same boat...trying to decide what ECU and Dizzy to run. I have a OBD0 B16 head. I was thinking of getting a OBD2 Si ECU and dizzy. BUT Im bnot sure if the dizzy is going to bolt right up?

why a piggy back? and are you talking about like a vafc2 or neo?

yes a vafc or neo is a piggy back. those are your only tuning options while remaining obd2. obd2 ecu's cannot be socketed and chipped like obd1 ecu's.

I knew that, I 'm not a NOOB
Will the car run correctly without a vafc? I really just need a daily driver not a racecar
