http://www.hondaautomotivepart....html
on page 3 it states that i have to unplug the 7 pin connector from the light switch.. then plug in the 2- 7 pin connectors of the switch harness into the light switch and the connector that i unplugged....what the f*ck does that mean..am i retarted or are these bad direction?

It sounds like the switch harness goes in between the light switch and the 7-pin connector that is unplugged from the light switch (e.g., one side of the switch harness connector goes into the light switch, the other side of the switch harness goes into the 7-pin connector you unplug.)
lol sry man im really not trying to sound like i have my head up you know where but im not following this i got the kit of jdmpassword.com if that makes it easier to explain cause i know some wire harness are different
ok this is what im trying to figure out..the switch harness... obviously the connector for the switch is self, the 1-pin blue taped connetors that goes to the fog light harness then there is the 4-pin connector that goes to the relay..also comes with a ground wire that i would assume is grounded to the steering column then there is a 2 1-pin connectors one red and one white i have no clue what to do with those
I'm not familiar with the jdmpassword.com site.
What the Honda instructions is saying is that the switch harness has two 7-pin connectors (one male and one female). The light switch has the female slot, plug the male 7-pin connector from the switch harness into the light switch's female slot. Then plug the switch harness female slot into the male 7-pin connector that was unplugged from the light switch.
If this still doesn't make sense, I'll try to draw something up.

i did that then i fried a wire n blew a relay almost cause my whole ecu to go..i spliced the the power from the parking light and connected it to the power of the fog light..this is where i think i messed up i spliced the ground from the parking light also and spliced it to the ground of the fog light...would it have been better if i took the ground from the fog light and grounded it to the frame of the car

haha yeah dude, that would definitely help... its almost like at first u were really curious, than after u posted ur first response it clicked that its what u shoulda done already lol... dont ever ground 2 wires with different sources to the same ground, im not an electrical genius but even i know that its bad to do that.. some say it dont matter but with the option of like 50 grounds on ur car, why put 2 together?? an yeah bro i have the jdm fogs on my ****, just hookem like a regular aftermarket install, an it will work fine, your switch will light up when engaged, an turn off when disengaged, ect... it will work fine... just dont ground anything together, dont tap into a main power source, if you can use an alternative that will work just as fine... you have tons of 12v sources dude.. dont use ur headlights or parking lights cuz then ur fogs will come on as soon as u click on ur lights an thats hella gay, unless thats what u really wanna do, but i just like having the option of using the switch to turn'm on/off...

you have fake oem fog lights so using the actual oem instructions will not work due to the fakes using a completely different wire harness. goodluck

because you bought them from jdmpassword. and the fact that you cant easily install and get the lights working properly.
because the oem and jdm oem fog lights are plug and play and do not need any splicing of any wire.
and what i said was not meant as a flame.

power source should be the same as the oem/jdm by pluging in the #2 and #5 optional slots in the fuse block with the two male slots in the kit.

the red connector goes to the #2 slot and the white goes to the #5 slot. look under at the fuse area (under dash) you will see the slots above the fuses and you will see numbers aswell just match them up
you'll need a flash light to see the numbers

couldn't figure out why i kept popping the underdash fuse that powered them but my switch was still lit. they fuked up when they swapped the pins on one fog!
