Default Has anyone installed a dc2r intake mani on an EF8 (jdm b16a1)

Has anyone done this?

I am in the process but it seems that the bracket that holds up the manifold on the ef8/sir doesnt work with a dc2r manifold

it is too far back and too high?

help?

Step 1 - Take off the Bolts and remove bracket.
Step 2 - Have a beer

I was gunna say something smart ***, but its easy to take for granted that not everyone on here has seen their and many other motors from all sides and angles whilst out of the car (or still in for that matter.)

and besides, it doesn't get much better than this:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
Step 1 - Take off the Bolts and remove bracket.
Step 2 - Have a beer
</TD></TR></TABLE>

interesting comments..

well i had a quick look again (i am waiting on a part so the car is in pieces)

Seems the bracket is a top support for the black box of the pcv..

so it may be possible to remove the bracket
but i am wondering if the support for the black box will be an issue
