Leaking Oil.. small PUDDLES !
a few weeks ago my friends and i installed a turbo on my car, and im leaking oil from the rear side of the oil pan closest to the rear of the car. im thinking it could be a possibility of things.. 1.) when i took off the oil pan i forgot to seal all around the gasket. 2.) the oil filter, which i highly doubt. 3.) it's leaking from the oil pressure sensor where the turbo's feed line is. im not exactly sure where it's leaking from because we made a mess underneath the car so everything looks oily, but on my driveway the oil is being dropped directly below the rear of the oil pan, right below the oil filter. help pleasee.
Go get 2 cans of brake cleaner from the parts store, blast down the entire back of the motor. Let it dry
Then go in the kitchen and swipe some flour, dust it all over the back of the motor.
Run the engine at 2000 RPM for 3-5 minutes.
You'll now be able to follow the oil trail back to the leak

if it's leaking from the rear by the drain plug, it's not ur rear main...that's the seal on the side between the trans and the oil pan. based on what u said, it's more than likely the oil pan gasket. the guy talking about the brake cleaner and flour is right on his idea. do that and see where the oil comes from. u need to clean by ur head gasket as well b/c u have to be able to follow a leak up top too.
