Default Jdm b18c1 in a 91 hf crx

wanna get a 94-95 b18 and stick it in a 91 hf. Wondering if i will run into problems that wouldnt make the whole ordeal worth it. I just think it would be awesome to have a light *** car. And also gimme some et's on what u think i would run in the 1/4 with jun cams, cai, headers and 2 1/2" exhaust, light fly and clutch. I believe the jdm b18c1 has 180 hp stock. Thnx in advance (by the way this is not hybrider93 but his friend whos sick of his 50000 lb eclipse).

I just finished my swap, I put a b18c1 in to my 88 hf. I'm taking it to put on an exhaust tomorrow(i hope). The only problems that you might have is just getting all the parts you need. It takes a bit of time to plan everything out, and get all the pieces. As for times, I'm not sure, but I hope to be in the low 14's when I'm done, we'll see.

As far as clearance issues, I'm using HCP mounts, courtesy of blown90hatch. The engine sits a bit lower than stock, and when I put my g/c's in there I don't think I'll be able to go as low as I wanted, but hey, at least I'll have a b18c

what about the B18s hydro tranny compared to the CRXs cable tranny??? I know the swap is obviously possible, but is it anymore difficult because of the difference in trannys or is there an "easy" way around this?? I'm planning on doing the B16a1 swap(with cable tranny) into a 91 HF, but was just wondering how the B18 works out...

Just slap the Cable tranny on the B18. As for problems, only thing i could think of would be some slight clearance issues. But should swap in just like any other B-series swap.

I just used an older cable tranny. As far as clearance issues, it fits fine, you just have to wiggle it in just a little bit.
