*help* wired o2 sensor wrong. fried something*help*
Im a big do it yourself'er, and i always manage to learn something new, unfortunately its the hard way every time haha.
heres the scoop,Had to replace my daily's o2 sensor (93 civic). I used a primary off of my friends RSX which was still working. the sensors are the same but (apparently) the pin locations are different. so, i get eveything clipped in no problem start the car and as soon as the ecu clicks over...dead.
battery power , everything lifeless.
so, my question is, where do i look first?
I dont want to spend hours and money replacing things that don't need to be replaced. I took the negative terminal off the battery and its not sparking or anything which leads me to believe the battery is totalled. could at be as simple as jumping it?

You cannot use the primary off an RSX. IT is a Wideband and will not work in another car with another ecu. YOu have probably damaged the sensor at this point and possibly the ecu.
