Need help with brake issue?? pulled a hose off and brakes are completly different now.
I was working on my engine bay and I pulled the 11/32 rubber hose off near the master cylinder and brake booster and then a blow of air noise came out of the hole. And then my brake pedal is completly hard as crap and then like I press on the brake and my car is still rollin even when I press on it hard as hell has anyone done this? here is a pic of what I am talking about. And i blead the brakes twice to get air out but no air came out just brake fluid. What else could i do to try to fix this problem?
1. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose from the brake booster.
2. Start the engine and let it idle. There should be vacuum in the hose. If no vacuum, the check valve is not working properly.
The check valve is built-in to the brake booster vacuum hose on the Civic.
